Updates!

Okay guys, you’ve all been really really great, very patient, and very yearning of some of the best writing EVAR! That being said, we ARE working on getting a new site going.

The new site will be a bit of a departure from what you might be used to seeing here on fulmer’s belly, but we believe it’ll be quite exciting. We hope you guys join us.

The site will hopefully be going live by the end of the month (or at least at some point in the summertime). In the meantime, check out the blogs of our friends over on the side, and we’ll look forward to seeing you guys soon.

Patagonia’s TIN SHED is back !

Patagonia just updated what they call their “TIN SHED” which is the place to go for stories from their friends and ambassadors traveling the wilder world – in high-quality video, audio and the written word.

Gassy

I for one, welcome our Gas Pumping overlords.

Honestly, who cares if Lane Kiffin told a kid he’d be pumping gas? What are we supposed to say when recruiting a kid? South Carolina is just as great as Tennessee, so do what you want?

Like all the commenters on GVX… that’s what the Vols finally are.. First in the SEC (east)!

Also, the Lady Vols passed the First! (round of the SEC tournament), so we’ve got that going for us.

Missississississippippi On My Mind

How come no one’s ever written a song about Mississippi? Well, I suppose people have, but it’s never been anything THAT interesting.

That being said, the BasketVols didn’t really seem to care when the Bulldogs were playing their tiny violins following their first loss to an Eastern Division team this year.

Tennessee actually played like they gave a damn, still with only token pressure in the full court (supposedly due to the team being “too long” a.k.a. “lazy”), but with actual movement on offense.

Update Mania

All righty folks.

It does in fact seem like it’s been forever since we’ve updated anything here, and what with the fantastic run of the basketball teams (with both the Men and Women having been equal opportunity purveyers of suck this year), there hasn’t been too much to write home about.  Or write blog about?

So long Marbury

Stephon Marbury and the New York Knicks agreed to a buyout ending the five year stint from the Brooklyn-born guard.  It is rumored that Marbury will join the Celtics as a back up.  Marbury did not play at all this year as new coach Mike D’Antoni wanted to focus on the players that were going [...]

MBL: Selig says A-rod shamed the game?

I love how Bud Selig takes the high road as he claims A-rod “shamed the game.”  Selig is, and was, part of the problem.  The commissioner did not step in and take control of a growing problem in the game as he was reaping the benefits of a captivating home run chase between Mark McGuire [...]

Brett Farve decided to hang up the cleats once again claiming to not want to keep the Jets hostage.  This retirement is probably legit so here is the post from last year’s official retirement…
